The Commission on Higher Education carried out a partnership mission to France; brought about by the successful visit of the French university delegation, parallel to the visit of French President François Hollande to the Philippines earlier this year/

The Philippine Embassy to France in Paris, reports that a delegation of the CHED lead by Chairperson Patricia B. Licuanan conducted a successful partnership mission from 13-14 April 2015. This is a result of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Philippines-France cooperation in the area of Higher Education and Research during the state visit of the French President to the Philippines on 26 February 2015.

This mission gave an opportunity for the CHED delegation to meet with orricials from the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research and with representatives of ten French universities, many of whom were present during the visit to Manila earlier this year. The meeting in Paris enabled both countries to bolster discussions on student and faculty mobility programs, as well as joint research projects in key disciplines.
