STEP 1: APPLICANT SENDS AN EMAIL TO CAMPUS FRANCE ASKING TO SET A PRE-CONSULAR INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT 

  • Email subject: (Pre-consular interview) Appointment request

In preparation for the interview, kindly get ready with the following documents (which we will ask you in the next step): 

  1. A one-page CV detailing your academic and professional background (PDF format)
  2. A copy of your acceptance letter issued by the French school/university (or registration/enrollment certificate)

STEP 2: CAMPUS FRANCE WILL SEND A MESSAGE TO THE APPLICANT CONTAINING THE PROCEDURE AND GUIDELINES FOR THE PRE-CONSULAR INTERVIEW 

  • Email subject: (Pre-consular interview) Procedure and guidelines 

STEP 3: APPLICANT REPLIES WITH REQUIRED INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS 

STEP 4: CAMPUS FRANCE WILL SEND A MESSAGE CONFIRMING RECEIPT OF DOCUMENTS AND INTERVIEW DATE

  • Email subject: (Pre-consular interview) Confirmation: receipt of documents and interview date

REMINDERS: 

  • Venue: Cultural section, Embassy of France to the Philippines (map)
  • Who to look for: Attaché for higher education
  • Duration: 15-20 minutes
  • Make sure that you bring all the visa application requirements during the interview. 
  • Please be punctual
  • Before leaving the Embassy, please double-check that: 
    • All application documents were returned to you 
    • Your visa application form has been stamped by the interviewer 

 

VFS Global is the official external service provider of the French Embassy for the collection of biometric data and visa application files

REMINDERS: 

  • Appointments may be set on the same day of the pre-consular interview
  • Processing time for long-stay visas: minimum 15 working days for complete files
    • incomplete files/insufficient documents will cause a delay in processing and may result in the refusal of the application
  • Please allot enough time between your appointment and date of departure
  • Applicants are responsible for setting the appointment for the collection of their biometric data and visa application file
  • Campus France cannot do the following:
    • Set an appointment for the applicant
    • Follow-up or expedite the visa application
    • Submit an appeal in case the application is denied
