Kindly read and follow these instructions carefully to avoid any delays in your long-stay student visa application

STEP 1: ONLINE INFORMATION SHEET TO BE COMPLETED BY THE APPLICANT

A) Read the instructions and correctly fill out the sheet here

B) Please wait for our email with further instructions

STEP 2: CAMPUS FRANCE WILL SEND A MESSAGE WITH A PRE-CONSULAR INTERVIEW FORM (TO BE FILLED OUT AND RETURNED BY THE APPLICANT)

Upon the receipt of your completed online information sheet, we will send you a message containing the a Pre-consular interview form

  • 1-page Excel sheet which you need to fill out with pertinent personal and academic information, you will have to send back to us in the next step

STEP 3: APPLICANT REPLIES WITH COMPLETED PRE-CONSULAR INTERVIEW FORM AND ACCEPTANCE LETTER

Reply to our Step 2 message containing the following:

  • Completed Pre-consular interview form - please return the form to us in this format: LASTNAME Firstname_preconsular.xlsx
    • NB: Make sure that you personally fill out this document and that all the information stated is true and correct
  • A copy of your acceptance letter or registration/enrolment certificate issued by the school in France 

STEP 4: CAMPUS FRANCE WILL SEND A MESSAGE CONFIRMING THE RECEIPT OF DOCUMENTS + LIST OF PROPOSED INTERVIEW DATES

A) This message confirms that we have received the completed Excel file and acceptance letter

B) It also includes proposed pre-consular interview dates - several dates and time slots for you to choose from

C) Although you will need to bring all the requirements during the interview, your application will only be formally considered after submission to VFS Global 

STEP 5: APPLICANT REPLIES WITH PREFERRED PRE-CONSULAR INTERVIEW DATE

STEP 6: CAMPUS FRANCE WILL SEND A MESSAGE CONFIRMING YOUR APPOINTMENT DATE

A) Only after steps 1-5 have been completed will we be able to send you a message containing:

  • Confirmation of your preferred appointment date and time
  • Supplementary information and tips on student life in France 

B) Once this is done, you may now set an appointment with VFS Global for the collection of your visa application file and biometric data

  • Venue: Cultural section, Embassy of France to the Philippines (map)
  • Who to look for: Attaché for higher education
  • Duration: 15-20 minutes
  • Make sure that you bring all the visa application requirements during the interview
  • Please be punctual

 

VFS Global is the official external service provider of the French Embassy for the collection of biometric data and visa application files

REMINDERS: 

  • Appointments may be set on the same day of the pre-consular interview
  • Processing time for long-stay visas: minimum 15 working days for complete files
    • incomplete files/insufficient documents will cause a delay in processing and may result in the refusal of the application
  • Please allot enough time between your appointment and date of departure
  • Applicants are responsible for setting the appointment for the collection of their biometric data and visa application file
  • Campus France cannot do the following:
    • Set an appointment for the applicant
    • Follow-up or expedite the visa application
    • Submit an appeal in case the application is denied
  • The VFS Global website contains all the information concerning the following:
    • Application forms
    • List of requirements
    • Fees to be paid (visa + supplementary)
    • Location
    • What to do after submission
