PhilFrance Scholarships for the 2022 academic year

The Embassy of France in the Philippines is pleased to present the PhilFrance Scholarships program for the 2022 academic year (September intake). 

All applications must be submitted through the PhilFrance Scholarships website, by the April 14th (12 noon) deadline.

Applications sent through other channels (paper, email, etc.) will not be accepted, and will therefore be considered invalid.

The 2022 application session for the PhilFrance Scholarships is ongoing until April 14th. Launched in 2016, this scholarship program is directed to Filipino students and professionals wishing to come to France to pursue Master’s degrees in all academic disciplines taught at French higher education institutions (public or private). It is awarded to highly-qualified candidates who have demonstrated strong academic and leadership qualities in their scholarly and professional activities.

Awardees of the PhilFrance Scholarships will be granted the status of boursier du gouvernement français (French government scholar) and are entitled to the following benefits from the French Embassy:

 

- a tuition subsidy

  • For state-regulated public universities: An exemption from university registration fees (exonération des frais d’inscription à l'université), covering the amount of €3 770 per academic year for Master’s degrees 
  • For other French higher education institutions: A partial tuition fee subsidy (frais de formation/frais de scolarité), amounting to a maximum of €5 000 per academic year (non-negotiable), covering the duration of the Master's program

- one round trip ticket from Manila to France

- an exemption from visa application fees

- a monthly living allowance of €700 covering the duration of their studies, 

- a health care package

- priority access to public student accommodations
