One-stop welcome desks (guichets uniques) are put in place at the start of the academic year to facilitate students’ arrival and completion of required administrative procedures
These are available in 30+ cities across the country
Various government institutions and agencies (Préfecture de Police, CAF, CROUS, etc) will be present to assist you and answer your questions.
At these welcome desks, there are also several student organizations and associations, as well as other services catering to students (banks, phone companies, insurance companies for mutuelles étudiantes) to help you out.
